Trekking Itinerary for Kheerganga

Kheerganga is a popular trekking destination located in the Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. Here is a trekking itinerary for Kheerganga which you can change as per your comfort:

Day 1: Arrival in Kasol

Arrive in Kasol, a popular basecamp for the Kheerganga trek and acclimatize. Stay overnight at Kasol.

Spend the day exploring the town, trying out local cuisine, and resting for the trek ahead.

Day 2: Kasol to Barshaini to Kheerganga

Start early in the morning and drive to Barshaini, the starting point of the Kheerganga trek. Reach Kheerganga by afternoon and explore the area. Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the valley. Stay overnight at Kheerganga.

Begin trekking from Barshaini to Kheerganga, which is a 12 km trek and takes around 5-6 hours to complete.

The trek involves a gradual ascent through the Parvati Valley, passing through scenic forests, waterfalls, and several small villages.

Reach Kheerganga by afternoon, and spend the night in camps.

Day 3: Kheerganga to Barshaini to Kasol

Travel Itinerary from Delhi to Manikaran

Manikaran is a popular destination located in the Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh, known for its hot springs and beautiful scenery. The nearest airport to Manikaran is Bhuntar Airport, which is about 35 km away. The nearest railway station is located in Joginder Nagar, which is about 80 km away. From Delhi, you can take the following route to reach Manikaran:

Day 1: Delhi to Kullu

Take an early morning Bus/ Taxi/ flight from Delhi to Bhuntar Airport

Upon arrival, hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Kullu (about 10 km from the airport)

Spend the day exploring Kullu, visit the Raghunath Temple, the Kullu Shawl Factory, and the Akhara Bazaar.

Stay overnight in Kullu.

Day 2: Kullu to Manikaran

After breakfast, leave for Manikaran (about 35 km from Kullu).

On the way, visit the Kasol Valley, which is known for its scenic beauty and hippie culture.

Upon arrival in Manikaran, check into your hotel and spend the day exploring the town.

Spend the day exploring Kasol and nearby areas. You can visit the Parvati River, Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, and Chalal Village.

If you are interested in trekking, you can opt for a short trek to Kheerganga or longer treks to Tosh or Malana.

Day 3: Kasol

Spend another day in Kasol and explore the area further.

You can visit the nearby villages of Pulga, Kalga and Tulga which are known for their beautiful landscapes and scenic views.

Day 4: Kasol to Delhi

Take an early morning bus or taxi from Kasol to Bhuntar and then take a train or bus back to Delhi.
